We are looking for an active, engaging and kind family assistant for a family of four in Seattle. This role has a lot of driving for two children as well as hands on time with the kids later in the evenings. In addition to being with the children this role involves family assistant duties such as grocery shopping, light cooking, running errands, scheduling and some event planning.
The perfect person will have experience with elementary aged and middle school aged children and understand limits on screen time and how to actively engage in other desirable activities. There is some flexibility needed in the schedule but commonly the role will be M-F 2:30PM onwards. Some nights will end by 6 or 7PM and others require staying on much later to accommodate the parents event calendar. For the right person, the family would love to bring someone along on ski and beach trips a couple of times each year. This is a role where many weeks you will work less than 40 hours but you are always guaranteed 40 hours of pay +benefits + PTO.
