We are currently seeking a formally trained Butler for an UHNW client in Beverly Hills area. The Butler role works directly with the other staff within the household (Chef, housekeepers, assistants, and more). This role directly works with the Estate Manager to keep the fluidity of the household as well as help with hosting events, and catering to guests.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
– Providing personalized service to Principals and their guests
– Having a deep knowledge of all details and functions within the role as it relates to the estate.
– Working with all staff (housekeeping, food services, etc.) to meet the Principals needs.
– Meet guests when they arrive at the home, occasionally help with valet service.
– Anticipate the Principal’s needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc.
– Have a thorough understanding of all inner-workings of the home, and maintain those functions
– Assess and restock wine collections, and other items within the home as necessary
– Occasionally help serve meals and pour drinks for guests during events at the home
– Communicate with housekeeping team to ensure rooms are cleaned and prepped.
– Run errands/ occasionally drive when necessary
– Perform all duties with discretion, professionalism and a pleasant demeanor
Requirements
– Experience as a butler in formal homes – a minimum of 5 years.
– Strong multi-tasking skills
– Excellent organizational skills
– Ability to adapt to a fluid environment
– Commitment to a high level of service and hospitality
– Strict attention to detail
– Knowledge of LA area including: restaurants, events, and other ‘hot’ attractions
– Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion
– Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus
– Ability to help with events at the estate and cater to guests needs.
– Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hotel management is a plus
Compensation: $100-140k DOE, plus full benefits and PTO.
