We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Server & Housekeeper to assist a wonderful family with the daily operations of the household and providing exceptional service in their private estate in Beverly Hills. The role will encompass formal and informal f&b service, housekeeping and assisting with daily/weekly AV and equipment checks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality to the principals and their guests and be adept at carrying out tasks calmly, efficiently, effectively, and with initiative. The principals are lovely, and the team at the residence has incredible longevity with the family.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All aspects of service including formal and informal f&b service and guest reception, ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality is provided to the principals and their guests.
Maintenance of silverware, glassware, tableware, china, and linens.
Work closely with the housekeeping team and perform housekeeping tasks.
Daily/weekly AV system and equipment checks.
Collaborate with House Manager and work closely with household staff, including chefs, housekeepers, gardeners, and other support staff.
Work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee household inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies and equipment.
Coordinate and oversee the setup and execution of events and parties hosted on the estate.
Ensure that all areas of the estate are kept clean, tidy, and in good working order at all times, working with maintenance staff to ensure that repairs are carried out promptly.
Foster a positive working environment and maintain open lines of communication with staff and the principals to ensure that their needs are met and that the estate is functioning smoothly.
Deal with any issues or problems that may arise and take appropriate action to resolve them.
REQUIREMENTS:
Los Angeles Based
Experience in high-end service. Wine knowledge and cocktail skills are a plus.
Excellent eye for detail, knowledge of housekeeping and laundry.
Tech savvy with knowledge of AV equipment
Ability to work independently and under instruction of the house manager
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people, including high-profile individuals and their guests.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certifications in butler service, wine service, or other hospitality-related fields are preferred, but not required.
Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks.
